Im not sure, that this is the right place to post it, but here goes.

It has come to my attension, that "Spellplague" is what happened in the year of blue fire (What year is this... 13??) ANd that 4th ED is 100years after that. I olse gather, that we are talking about a whole new realm. Have the continent changed? What exists of the "old" realm? I have heard that Mystra is dead! What about Elminster, and the Seven Sisters? Have they died aswell? And what has happened to magic en generel. The weave destroyed? Please anyone fill me in!!!

I would greatly appretiate it!!!

Many thanks!

This has been discussed in this halls many times. A good starting point is

this scroll.

This scroll is rather long

And this scroll is about 4th ed specifically.

"What mattered our lives now? When our world had been torn from us? Folk wept, or drank, or stood staring out over the land, wondering what new horror each dawn would bring."
Elender Stormfall of Suzail

"Anyone can kill deities, cause plagues, or destroy organizations. It takes real skill to make them live on."

I'd like to remind that the 4E FF Campaign Guide isn't out yet, so don't expect to find too many specific details about the upcoming changes.

"Instead of asking why we sleep, it might make sense to ask why we wake. Perchance we live to dream. From that perspective, the sea of troubles we navigate in the workaday world might be the price we pay for admission to another night in the world of dreams."
