What form does the military salute take in Cormyr? How about the handshake?

Our groups are all sticking with 3.X classic Realms.

I seem to recall something about grasping wrists, but I might be wrong. You might wish to check out the 'Waterdeep Watch' articles on the WoTC website for more on military etiquette and lore in the Realms (after all, local customs aside, you could just use this lore to apply in Cormyr 'as is')

Ed touches on salutes used among the Watch in his '04 replies. He also shared some thoughts about general military salutes in use, as I recall.
