It depends on how much a change a Paladin makes as to how hard it is. For deities somewhat the same aligned it tends not to be that hard.
The general rule is simple, change deity as a Paladin you lose all blessings of that deity, no Paladin powers. The new deity will however restore all Paladin powers after an atonement. The atonement is basically doing a quest, pray or other service based on how much the former actions were against the new deity. As both Tyr and Torm are Lawful Good the atonement would be a light task as compared to a Paladin switching from Bane to Tyr.
In general it is up to the DM to determine what amount of works are required to complete the atonement based on the history of the PC or NPC . |
