So I pre-ordered Prophet of the Dead and The Last Threshold from amazon right after Christmas and they both came today. The Last Threshold isn't scheduled for release until March 5th. Bonus! Anyone else luck out and get this early?

Very nice! Looks like Amazon could be facing a nice $20,000 fine for breaking a solid Street Date release.

Bonus for you! I almost pre-ordered those two books together, but decided to wait on the Last Threshold

Nothing fishy. I almost bought the lone copy at Barnes and Nobles this last Saturday night.

I hope Candlekeep continues to be the friendly forum of fellow Realms-lovers that it has always been, as we all go through this together. If you don’t want to move to the “new” Realms, that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with either you or the “old” Realms. Goodness knows Candlekeep, and the hearts of its scribes, are both big enough to accommodate both. If we want them to be.

Enough for now. The Realms lives! I have spoken! Ale and light wines half price, served by a smiling Storm Silverhand fetchingly clad in thigh-high boots and naught else! Ahem . .

Barnes & Noble also states a March 5 release date.

I have been a member of this board since the beginning. I'm not interested in lying about getting a book early. Now if I only had the time to read it :(

I was just messing around with you Jornan...

I used to work in retail and know that at times my company would release items early just to get a jump on everyone else.

I did not mean to call you out that way. That post was meant mockingly towards release dates.

Sorry...

This is exactly why there is such a steep fine if they get caught.
