So if a vampire managed to drink his way through half a dozen mages he could progress at a rate that is beyond anything that has been seen before?

This is a serious question concerning this. If this is the case, then I will have to make a note of it just in case anyone playing in any future games tries to use this to get ahead of everyone else power-wise.
