Hi,

I have two questions (If any one can answer it will be great):

As someone who enjoyed the Finder's stone trilogy:

1) Why does not Wizards re-published this series, like they did for the Avatar and Moonshae trilogies? it is one of the Best trilogies ever written (Same goes for the Empires trilogy).

2) Why are not Jeff Grub and Kate Novak writing anymore books in the Forgotten realms?

Mod Edit: Moved to a more appropriate shelf.

1) Lurue only knows. I don't understand why they've reprinted some books and left others languishing in the past. There has been at least one republished series that made me scratch my head, because I didn't see the logic in bringing it back.

I've not understood most of WotC's business decisions for quite some time, now.

2)They've moved on, and are doing other things with their lives now.

OK, what are they doing in their lives, if I can ask?

Are there other interesting novels they wrote?

That's one of them. The Threat From the Sea is another.

Jeff's contributed to products for the DRAGONLANCE line. If you're interested, I'll list those sources.

In terms of novels, no. Just the one novel.

Well, that is covering Grubb and Novak.

How about James Lowder and Elaine Cunningham? do you know what happened to them? I am trying to see what happened to the "classic" writers that I loved, when the world was a little younger...

Elaine still visits this site at times, its not that many years since she wrote the Waterdeep novel with Ed. You can always go to her thread and ask her. I think Lowder has been here a couple of times hasn't he?

OOO!

Elaine's still busy. She wrote a Star Wars novel (Dark Journey), an EverQuest novel (Blood Red Harp) and contributed to many an anthology.

And, of course, Paizo is getting ready to publish her first novel set in Pathfinder/Golarion (Winter Witch) schedule for release in October.

Enjoy!

I actually DO know everything. I just have a very poor index of my knowledge.

Hi James,
Glad to hear from you...
I was hoping you might be able to help me with something here.
Few years ago you were interviewed here (It was at 2004), I was wonder if you can approve this interview be translated to other language? I represnts the fans of the forgotten realms in Israel, and I would be very happy to publish this interview there at the appropriate forum (The avatar trilogy was first published here only 2 years ago)

I asked for permissions from the moderators here, but still no answer, a good feed back from you will be helpfull.

Thanks
Eyal

My next book, WINTER WITCH, is scheduled for release in October as the second book in Paizo's Pathfinder Tales line.

My next WIP is THE SERPENT'S DAUGHTER, a FR novel featuring Azariah Craulnober. :)

I want to know what happened to Douglas Niles. Anyone know?
