Will you at least be providing some kind of review?

I'm only four chapters into it, just thought I'd let people know it might be around.

And yes, I will post up my thoughts, I just haven't had much time to read. :)

I posted my thoughts in the Book Club, but a moderator needs to approve the New Topic. Undead only has 10 chapters, so I posted a thread on chapters 1-2, which covers about 75 pages of the book.

I am thrilled this book is set in 1385, the Year of Blue Flame, given what a monumental year it is in Realms history.

Well met

Aye, I received notification of the novel breakdown from Richard Lee Byers, so will be putting up the threads later today. Oddly, he informed me that there are actually 11 chapters (plus a prologue and epilogue). I don't have the novel myself yet to check.

Undead (Forgotten Realms : Haunted Lands, book 2) by Richard Lee Byers

I am really looking forward to this book but unfortunately it will firs be In Denmark the 15 march. The first book was one of the best fantasy books I have ever read and I can only tell all here in Candlekeep that the first book is a (must read) book.
I will follow the book thread when its up.

WotC now has a sample chapter up online. If you'd like to read it, just go to the Books section of the WotC site.

Link to above mentioned chapter

Looking at that, does anyone else find it odd that the Author's name is larger then the title? I actually had trouble 'finding' the title when looking at the cover.

Nothing against Mr. Byers... I'm looking forward to reading the entire series when the third installment is out... but I just think the cover-layout is a bit 'odd'.

Why must they write these books in series? You read the book in a day and then have to wait a year to continue with the story Well done again Mr. Byers.... damm you

If I waited till I knew what I was doing, I'd never get anything done.

Glad you enjoyed it, dwarvenranger.
And as far as making you wait a year for the finale is concerned, sometimes you've got to be cruel to be kind. (Actually, I've always been dubious about this sentiment myself. But it's catchy.)

I learnt few hours ago (here in !) that the Haunted lands trilogy dealt with pre- to post- spellplague.
SO, I looked for it on the web (amazon, ebay,...).
As I bought Swordmage in Hardcover size, I'd like to get these ones in the same size.

But I'm not able to find it in this size on the web.
Could someone help me please ?
I'm also allright to buy used items (but like new !!)
Thanks a lot

Tragically, like the majority of FR novels, the Haunted Land books are only available in paperback.
