I hope this was the right place to post this. If not move it or lock it and let me know.
I was wondering if anyone else here was using the C&C system for their Realms games?

I believe he's talking about Castles and Crusades by Troll Lord Games.
My note: I know one of the guys that worked on one of the Monsters and Treasure sourcebook because he is engaged to my friend's sister. :) |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I'm guessing Robert Doyle?
Anyway C&C or Castles and Crusades is a rules light game based on the OGL but it has been extensively redone to be more like the older AD&D editions. It still uses the 0-9 level spells and ascending armor classes but has been retooled to be a lighter and faster game than standard OGL based games.
Sorry to sound like and ad there but it was the best descrip I had. |

I like Robert. He's helped me with some of my own monster work.
Anyway, I thought I'd ask here since we do have some players in the C&C community that use FR and I wanted to see if there were anymore out there. |

Cool
I've never run a game but I have some of the books and I know Robert and his partner still play/run in a C&C campaign. Or, they did last I heard. |
