Greetings and salutations,

I am shmity72. I am a modder of nwn2-also I need some general help with the lore of faerun, (trying to get it right, specifically in the region of Estagund).

Any help would be very much appreciated...for example: 'well, it's got to have 'this' or 'that' in it!'

sincerely, shmity72

Don't know much about that area, but that'd be a cool place to set a module. Different from the usual.

"Instead of asking why we sleep, it might make sense to ask why we wake. Perchance we live to dream. From that perspective, the sea of troubles we navigate in the workaday world might be the price we pay for admission to another night in the world of dreams."
--Richard Greene (letter to Time)

thank you for your encouragement.

I have a few things down...one is people say things like: "...going on a wild loxo hunt." stuff like that, ought to enrich the experience i think...

Try to get a hold of "The Shining South" RPG source book. It has lot of info about Estagund and neighbouring regions.
I'll try to remember to post some things from it later when I'm back home (at school right now).

Maybe you can find something in the old editions, that can be downloaded for free here http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads.
When you're reading the pdf just write estagund on the search.
Hope that helps .

I am Talanfir Swiftfeet. (In)famous across the Swoardcoast as "Tal the Swift", Brandobaris´ seraph of mischief. If ye find yer shoelaces tied together while trying to catch a thief or meet a king who is angry because somebody switched the places of his chamberpot and his crown, ye can usually (try to) find me near.

If I had a halfling mother and a human father, would I be a half-halfling or a threequarterling?

I noticed you are from suomi land... I took finnish breifly in college.

thnx for your help, though i do have the shining south source book of 2003. I could probably use the 1993 edition but that's hard to get ahold of.

yksi kaksi kolme...

see you later!`shmity72

If you want the PDF version, it's available for five bucks at rpgnow.com or paizo's website.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird
