Yeah, The Dragon Prince is one of the best animated series I've ever seen. I've pondered including Dark Magic in my homebrew but it's a major change from the norm. It could be an alternative to accessing the Weave though.
I have a dream that one day, all game worlds will exist as one.
wow, that's interesting because I literally just rewatched the series in the last month, because I wanted to make sure I remembered it before a new season supposedly came out (and I also found a kid's comic showing the next thing that happens after the finale).
BTW, I really like the imagery of the sunfire elves and think they'd make a great Illythiiri offshoot prior to their fall (I know most folk would equate them to the gold/sun elves because of the sun link, but I think they make a better link to a divergent group of unfallen drow).
