I'm working on an epic version of Pool of Radiance.
After collecting most of the stuff for Phlan, I'm now about to flesh out the wilderness.
I'm aware of locations like Grimshackle Jail oder King's Pyre from Adventurers League. Although of younger age they might have existed during the PoR periode (with different inhabitants of course).
I took the following map from such a product and put a hex grid on it.
You find the map over here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/50m95hux6wxeijd/CCI14102018_0001.jpg?dl=0

Unfortunatly the grid itself did not survive the scanning. But the coordinates should work...

I already located

7,21 Sorcerer's Island
10,22 Thri Kreen
6,30 Orcs
8,24 Nomand Camp
7,33 Lizard Men
7,16 Kobold Kingdom
2,26 Hobgoblins

Can you think of other locations? Canon or homebrew?
Any entries to fill the map are welcome.

FORMAT
4,15 Diogenes the Silver Dragon*
Description....

It would be nice if you could mark canon material with an *

From the SSI games:
The Zhentil Keep outpost.
I believe it was near the coast a bit west of the Thri Kreen lair.
It may later have been renamed Fort Tes, since the locations for the two match.

The Glacier of the Silver Blades
In the middle of the Dragonspine Mountains, directly north of Zhentil Keep. Verdigris is on the northern side though, so it may not fit into the Phlan environs.

From Canon:
The Lone Tower.
The "Monuments of the Ancients" adventure map places it in the middle of Giants Cairn.

Brian R. James who made it posted some info in a thread some years back:

Thanks!
At the back of my mind I recall an Zhentil Keep Outpost on the Iron route. But in PoR RAW it's indead in the middle of nowwhere in the Grass Sea (Which makes no sense to me)

Never heard of Fort Tes however. Any sources?

Only place I've seen it was here:
http://robmweb.com/hobbies/moonsea/regions/
(You have to click the map to see it.)

It has a few other details i've seen nowhere else, and I thought it might be homemade, but it looks official.

There's the Sons of Gruumsh adventure set in Thar that might help too.

That's of course a major location.

If you want to use Thar, Elminster's Ecologies had some info on it.
