Anyone know where I can find a list of the various dialects of Common for the Realms? All I have so far:

Calant spoken on the Sword Coast
Kouroo spoken in Chult
Skaevrym spoken in Sossal

I also know it grew from Thorass (now largely a dead language) which itself grew from Jotun (giant). Are there no other named dialects?

I have a dream that one day, all game worlds will exist as one.

I think Tom Costa's comprehensive Realms languages article from one of the Dragon Magazine Annuals had a whole bunch of dialects. In transit to GENCON so can't check just at the moment, but it would be the best place to start.

This scroll has the Dragon Magazine specifics. It's a great, comprehensive article by Tom Costa and worth tracking down. In fact, I could see many people getting confused with the sheer numbers and combinatorial complexity of all the described languages and dialects listed.

My only observation is that British-sounding accents often indicate individuals are elite, intelligent, and competent. Whereas Russian-sounding accents typically announce an individual has an evil and warlike agenda. Just a popular Hollywood trope, but it seems quite inescapable.

That thread doesn't actually have much in the way of specifics and certainly not what I was looking for directly. Sleyvas' work is of great help though.
