Just do you think that gods of the evil axis, would be inclined to aid demons and devils if it meant permanently getting rid of the axis of good, being "team evil".

Or do you think they would be bound by whatever contract they have with AO to fight against a take over of realms space from demons and devils.

Gods haven't taken an overt roll in fiendish politics and the Blood War since very early in the mutiverse's history. The fiends (arguably most obviously the yugoloths) made it very clear that they neither appreciated nor desired divine interference. Since then the role of gods, both evil and otherwise, has been much more subtle when it comes to dealing with the fiends on their own planes.

The fiends, especially Asmodeus and (to a lesser extent) Mephistopheles, seem to have stepped out of their traditional old-edition background roles and become active in terms of recent Realmslore. They seem to be opportunistically seizing any divine power they can get within their scaly grasps.

The last two books in the Avatar Series depicted Waukeen suffering at the bequest of a lesser archdevil, suggesting some connection between Cyric (in his prime) and the Nine Hells, but I don‘t recall this story arc being pursued to any definitive conclusion.

Shar, Talos, Bane, Malar, Talona, Loviatar, Umberlee, and the lot are typically too involved in their own worldly manipulations to form any sort of meaningful alliance. They‘re also too greedy and distrustful and smart to collect an functional “axis of evil“, partly because such an arrangement would polarize too many synergistic forces of good against them. Besides, their interests tend to be incompatible and share little overlap.

Ao has only become involved during crisis events which affect the stability of the Realms and its entire pantheon. Coalitions and conflicts between gods and their little ideals (good vs evil, law vs chaos, that kinda stuff) doesn‘t much concern Ao - he transcends such ephemeral conceptionalizations.

I wouldn‘t be surprised (and would like to see) if more fiends initiate activities in the Realms. But again, this sort of invites the “other side“ (in this case, celestials) to enjoin war and turn the Realms into a cosmic battleground. I think I‘d prefer to keep holy (and unholy) wars out of the Realms, they‘ve suffered enough heavyhanded cratering already. I wouldn‘t put it past archfiends and evil deities cooperating (to an extant), but these compacts have always disintegrated in the face of deception, treachery, betrayal, and annoying heroism in the past.

Why on earth would the evil gods want to sit back and let the demons and devils come in and take over their territory? Demons and/or devils coming in and destroying the good gods is only going to increase the worship of the demons and devils, and possibly decrease the evil god's worshippers as his own followers turn to the demons and/or devils.

Alavairthae, may your skill prevail

Demons destroy faith and create faithless. Devils pervert faith and create the false.

The deities, whatever their alignment, would generally be opposed to both except as occasional tools for those whose alignments permit trafficking with fiends.
