I'm a long time (A)D&D player, but we always played in a Mystara/Known World home-brew mix. I recently got hold of some 2nd ed FR stuff, and it's really cool!
I'm going to use FR for my next campaign project which will use Labyrinth Lord + AEC as the basic rules engine with house rules and inspiration from other OSR games.
I hope to be able to ask silly questions and pick your eminent brains on all things Realms :)
Acyually, I have some experiences with FR from computer games (Baldurs Gate I&II, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights) and various FR novels.
