Has anyone heard anything more about this new gaming magazine?

I hope Candlekeep continues to be the friendly forum of fellow Realms-lovers that it has always been, as we all go through this together. If you don’t want to move to the “new” Realms, that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with either you or the “old” Realms. Goodness knows Candlekeep, and the hearts of its scribes, are both big enough to accommodate both. If we want them to be. (Strikes dramatic pose, raises sword to gleam in the sunset, and hopes breeches won’t fall down.) Enough for now. The Realms lives! I have spoken! Ale and light wines half price, served by a smiling Storm Silverhand fetchingly clad in thigh-high boots and naught else! Ahem . . So saith Ed. <snip> love to all, THO

This is a new company using the same acronym. The original TSR -- the ones that first published D&D -- were bought out by WotC years ago. |

From the Gygax Magazine website: TSR is a trademark of Hexagonist Publishing, LLC, and is not associated with Wizards of the Coast®. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. |

That seems really odd to me. I thought WotC would've trademarked all the legacy TSR property (identity/logos/etc) to prevent poaching and misrepresentation; it just costs so little to do and is common practice for prominent companies these days. Then again, perhaps this new TSR and Wizbro have a special arrangement. Or perhaps a take-down notice is coming. |

I knew TSR was bought out by WotC a long time ago, but some new company using the same abbreviation for the same type of product seems sketchy. |

there is an explanation somewhere on their blog/forum about the TSR logo - essentially the logo licence lapsed in 2002 (maybe 2004?) and was bought by the current incumbents.
