I've encountered this image, what appears to be a TSR-licensed AD&D 2E product titled F9516: Religions & Avatars. Not quite the same as TSR9516: Faiths & Avatars.

A different printing? A fake?

maybe the original name or a placeholder name till they decided on a title? then decided to go with a better sounding one...

though doing a google search it looks a bit like Religions & Avatars was the name of the product sold in Europe while Faiths & Avatars was in the US, but that is just a guess from the hits that came up when doing the searches...

Different titles for different regional markets? I don't see why, unless the book was translated. It looks English to me.

It might be a knock off, however could be a UK printing. Website appears French. The product number might be all that is different if you get past translation.

Clearly does appear to be TSR 9516 - Faiths & Avatars in a different language.

"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards."
"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."

Open the pages and very likely you will see French, likely what the F stands for.
