Honor Among Thieves, the first in a series of short "e-riginal" novels, will be going online next week. The prologue (which is also the prologue to The Book of Vishni's Exile, a collection of tales one of the characters writes throughout the series) is online now at www.elainecunningham.com.
The website is being completely rebuild as a WordPress blog. But instead of the usual author blog, this will offer daily bits of lore, fiction, maps, and character art--fluff articles, in other words.
Starting in June, I'll be following this schedule:
M: Honor Among Thieves excerpt
T: Lore and legends
W: People and places
Th: Treasures and technology
F: Book of Vishni's Exile (Short fiction)
Each weekend I'll post an update on the usual author stuff: info about new releases, work in progress, conventions appearances, cover art, and so on.

Tales from THE BOOK OF VISHNI'S EXILE will begin next week. In the meanwhile, I'm kicking off Friday Fairy Tales with a story I wrote a few years back. "The Princess and the Psotnik" is inspired by the "trickster" tales of Slavic folklore and is rooted in Polisy myth and history.

And I'd just like to report to all scribes that Ed Greenwood has read HONOR AMONG THIEVES and LOVED it.
As he posted to me:
I've got a lot of little writing projects to get done before I depart for Paizocon, but I'm going to MAKE time to reread it, several times. It's that good and that much fun. Check it out!

| Thanks for answering, I'll have to take a look at Smashwords. I was asking about Paizo since that would have the advantage of reducing the number of places who knows my credit-card number. (Well, a family member of mine's credit card number actually. [insert grumbling about being in the low-income bracket]). |

And a friend of mine was way happy about the cover art -- apparently, before you posted that link, he wasn't able to find the artist. Now he's found and contacted her thru Facebook, and proceeded to go into barely-restrained-fan mode. |
