Ok i want to make a character that he needs to be drunk at all times, but at low levels i cannot afford an inifnite stein is there a way around like...like a Keg on my back i can make my own brew, anything?
The whole idea is basically i tend to play calm collective characters and thought let's try a change so going for Dwarf Monk/Drunken master

| Side note would an inifnite stein be against the feat Vow of Poverty if i took it...because for this kinda character i could see him doing it as long as he has that stein |

I worry about you, Delanish, I do.
I think the issue you're running into, though, is that your character concept (drunken master with infinite stein of ale), is a 7th-10th level concept and not a low level concept.
At 1st level, you're going to run out of ale. That's a universal problem for all first level characters. For 2nd-4th level you're going to need to look for mundane solutions, i.e. back-mounted casks of ale, wineskin laden burros, and eventually up to a wagon with barrels of ale, hooked up to a 1,000 foot long hose so you can go that far into a dungeon and still refill your stein.
Then you can get someone to make a wand for you with "create ale" in it. After all that, then you can look into your decanter of endless booze. But, you need to take the right steps. |

Well, ye could always just spend all your time in bars and taverns, brawling and gambling to earn experience and gold until ye've reached infinite-ale status. Judging by what I've seen, many of yer opponents will be bored PCs - technically worth quite a lot of XP and as often as not they'll be richer (and stupider) than royalty. Spending all yer gold on booze is an interesting method to implement yer Vow of Poverty. Also an interesting method to proselytize (and demonstrate) yer monastic teachings to the bottomfeeding scumbag rats sadly discarded and neglected victims of society who perhaps most badly need to be thumped into shape and recruited into a disciplined order. Perhaps ye might hire a few of these (and some mules or a small wagon) to carry some kegs of ale to yer campsite while on dungeoneering expeditions. |

Well in theory one could take profession brew master or is that a craft?
Work by day for the wages, drink enough to do short adventures off hours before becoming too sober. The logistics of carrying a keg into a tunnel would likely result in PC death and a few drunk goblins. |

Having an infinite stein does go against the Vow of Poverty feat, hence why that feat isn't a good choice. I really don't see the appeal actually since Monks need a variety of magic items to be useful (espically at low-level campaigns).
But if you want the concept to work, think small and use up your copper pieces on crappy drinks at the tavern but keep a good number of highly potent flasks of alcohol on you for adventuring. I think there's a huge array of alcoholic drinks from the Arms and Equipment Guide (3.0) OOOR you could buy a Dwarven Brewmaster (also in the A&EG) which allows you to brew your own alcohol in about a weeks time no matter where you are. They cost about 5 gp. |
