It's nice to see a younger fan honestly. Does it count that I read these books to my nearly three year old daughter? :P

I was 13 when I started playing AD&D, but the Realms came later.

Dude, at 15 or 16 I was still struggling with the English language at school and D&D was, mostly to us RPG newbies, a giant in the clouds.

Later it was just a giant *wanders off mumbling about old age and all that*

Heh. Ed Greenwood started creating the Realms when he was six, remember. Youth is welcome. As are increasingly creaky old bones like Ed's today. Or mine.
I can still purr and vamp, though.
Welcome, MasksChosenOne. I'm so old, I can remember the day when Ed created Mask. A cloudy but never quite raining Thursday in don Mills, as I recall . . .
love,

I was 14 when I started playing D&D and 15 when I discovered the Realms.

Spellfire was my first Realms novel and Darkwalker on Moonshae was the 2nd.
