Posted - 27 Nov 2016 : 12:15:57 I have read about the Artificers and it is said that they can create just about any magical objects. From there, it popped in my mind a question: can they create something like phylacteries? Objects they can link their souls to? Would be interesting if an Artificer can become a lich without the requirement to mess with the Negative Plane or evil rituals. In fact, I'm thinking to something more like Horcruxes from Harry Potter. So, is this possible for an experienced Artificer to do? |

How about Nadul DaRoni? Tinkersdam of Gond? Or many other Gondsmen, for that matter?

They are many and they are close. There's Zakhara, Lantan, the gnomes and the drow, and whatnot.

I've run a steampunk-ish version of FR, set a hundred years in the future (which would technically be about 15 years in the past now, come to think of it). Had a train and everything. It didn't go over very well. Not sure if it was something I did, or the flavor was just too 'off' for FR (even though it was set in Anchormé), or some combination of both.
I've also set just about all of Eberron's 'vibe' into Halruaa - its a very good fit, Dragonmarked houses and all. Maybe Nimbral as well. |
