I found a reference to a famous temple to Haela near Amphail that was overrun by dwarves. This comes from Dwarves Deep. Does anyone know more specifically where this temple is or anymore details on it? I couldn't find anything on it and yet it's referred to as 'famous'.

No, there isn't anything else on that temple. I don't think it even got a name. It was just one of those things that was introduced early and no one decided to pick up.

Doggedly converting 3e back to what D&D should be...
Sigh... And now 4e as well.

Being near Amphail it could be part of Besilmer or Garraghaur (spelling?).
In Demihuman deities from 2nd edition there are mentions of two places in the Dessarin. One near the Dessarin in the middle of the Umber Hills (it is described in Princes of the Apocalypse)
And I think a temple hold consecrated to Marmmathor Duin below Beruns Hill near Triboar.
