And a good day to you all!
I've been making a few posts here and there, but realised I've so far failed to introduce myself.
On the internet, my 'name' has been Bulak for a couple of decades now.
I started playing D&D when 2e was the current edition, which also introduced me to the Forgotten Realms. I've since roamed Faerūn both as player and DM, and sailed to distant Zakhara as well. Apart from the FR setting itself, I also enjoy the Al-Qadim setting a lot.
I'm currently enjoying the 5e rulesset a lot. It rekindled my interest in D&D in general, and in the Forgotten Realms, which brought me here!

Feel free to ask any other questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
