Presenting the Artificer (5e) (REVISED)

***[Product has been moved to new page - see Author’s Note at the bottom]

PWYW (meaning you can donate however you wish to support the designer or download freely)

Artificers are the quintessential crafters and engineers of wonders in a world of magic. They channel arcane forces into their works, conjuring impossible dreams of creation into reality.

This product contains the following:

• The Artificer class, a full class design from levels 1 to 20.

• Archetypes include:

The Battleforge Smith: A skilled craftsman that dons a powerful suit of rune-enhanced armor with customized capabilities.

The Eldritch Alchemist: A seeker of alchemical secrets with expertise in transmutative arts.

The Magic Gunslinger: A firearm specialist trained to take down foes with magic bullets.

The Runic Golemancer: An aspiring inventor accompanied by a powerful golem companion.

• 27 new feats, some of which are specially designed for the artificer.

• A section on Rune Golems, a new type of companion pet that is a feature of the Runic Golemancer.

• 74 new magic spells, several of which are specially designed for the artificer.

• A section on Artificer Gadgets - adaptable device parts that can transform into tools for the artificer.

• An Equipment section containing subsections of firearms, various magical and nonmagical potions, runic inscriptions, and alchemical items.

AUTHOR'S NOTE (2/7/2017): The old product page became bugged, and I felt that with the latest update changing so much, I might as well try a fresh start. I've also uploaded the old files, marked "old" for anyone who wants to compare the differences. The update log is at the end of the book.

Didn't WotC already come out with a complete 20th level Artificer class a few weeks ago?

Did they? Please provide a link... and the question becomes which of the two is better.

It was in a Unearthed Arcana article, so isn't kinda official yet. AFAIK, Eberron creators don't feel this to be an artificer yet, so there is room for improvements.

Hmmm, yeah, it is a start, but not what I'd picture.

I originally posted my Artificer design last year, and based on feedback, I rebalanced the classes from the original version and added more supplementary material for improved quality of life.

If you look at the update log at the end of the book, you can see a list of changes that were made in the revised version update.

At the very least, the spells and equipment section may be useful to your table even if you don't use the class itself. PWYW so donate however you wish or download freely.
