So far the earliest reference I can find is

-349 A Topaz Dragon rules Westgate until its overthrone by Netherese Wizard

Anyone remember or know of any older references?

No date reference, but Ed Bonny says that Auppenser traditionally used an amethyst dragon as his herald, and that would have been throughout the reign of the Jhaamdathan civilization. See this link here:

Actually, the gem dragons are a natural match to pair with the psionically sophisticated Jhaamdathans.

Someone told you in a prior thread how to find those updated links. I don't recall which one it was, though, because you've been flooding the forums by resurrecting discussions started by people that have been gone for years.
