Have ya'll seen this?

Waterdeep Map

"These things also I have observed: that knowledge of our world is
to be nurtured like a precious flower, for it is the most precious
thing we have. Wherefore guard the word written and heed
words unwritten and set them down ere they fade . . . Learn
then, well, the arts of reading, writing, and listening true, and they
will lead you to the greatest art of all: understanding."

Looks like the Waterdeep Map is just a small part of the project over there.

here is the 5e Western Faerun Map:

Am impressed, really nice project that everyone can send suggestions for, that way expanding the "dots"?

Could become sort of 5e revamp the old FR interactive atlas possibly?

I wonder how much work goes into adding all those great dots to a map. I'd pay, well, enough to make Waukeen blush, for the program or whatever it is to own a private copy with which to make my own maps.

This must be 5e? I'm guessing since I do not recognize most of these places.

IMO seems to be obvious road to ride, isn't it?

For some changes (political, regional, places, etc) occured down the line already.

So best to have such mirrored in an up-to-date 5e style map.
