Finished up with Obsidian Ridge. For the most part I enjoyed it, but some of Xeries' decisions were questionable.

I read these when they came out, but I remember enjoying all of the Citadels series.

I finished Libriomancer, which I quite enjoyed. The magic system used in the book was original and well thought out, and I enjoyed the story a lot, as well.

I was trying to figure out what to read next, and nothing was grabbing me, immediately... I've got a couple of books coming from Amazon that should be delivered tomorrow, but I won't be able to lay hands on them before tomorrow eve -- and I read enough that I need something else, in the meantime!

Then I watched that new Star Wars trailer... I've only got a handful of the Star Wars novels from the now-defunct Expanded Universe, but I think I'm going to be grabbing something from that shelf. The Thrawn trilogy, I think -- that trilogy very much captures the feel of the Classic Trilogy.

So far I've read the first 2 and think they are pretty solid. With the exception of the first book of the Dungeons series, I enjoyed those as well.

Starting Sentinelspire to finish up the Citadels series. It's a bonus to me that this book takes place in/around the Hordelands!

Finished reading The Drawing of the Dark a little while ago. I've been alternating between reading The Night Parade by Scott Ciencin, and volumes 62-64 of the One Piece manga.

Same here. Although I don't really like the new design for the stormtroopers' helmets.

I'll count us lucky if that's the only thing we complain about.

I know, right? Though I prefer to look on the bright side of things; no matter what they do with this film, it will not piss me off as much as the prequel trilogy did. (Unless they really, really screw it up.)

Yeah, and having Myrmeen Lhal as the protagonist is a definite plus for me! And the Night Parade themselves have such a perfectly 'wrong' feel to them! (To be honest, some of the ones that have been described do remind me of some things that appeared in my nightmares when I was younger.)

Myrmeen Lhal makes another appearance in Elminster's Daughter though her role is a bit minor.

I decided to go with Sharps by KJ Parker.

Never read anything by Parker (aka Tom Holt) before, but so far I am glad I chose this one.

New job quelled my reading habits a bit, but I finished "Azure Bonds" and really, really enjoyed it. I was NOT keen on a lizard character - but then, it totally worked. Off to the next book in that trilogy!
