Oh, now that is a cool site! Some of those maps are really quite nifty...

I'm not the mapping fiend you are, but I do like pretty maps. I've still got a bunch to put up on eBay, but I've made a point of keeping several of the duplicate maps I've managed to acquire -- like the ones for Waterdeep and Undermountain.

Oh, and I still, every now and again, fire up the Dungeon Generator that came with the CD insert with that long-ago issue of Dragon.

Oooh! That's a useful site. And having random maps like some of those presented there, are great for helping to generate particular adventures and/or side-quests. Nice find Markus.

Indeed. I'd recommend all our Schend-devotees take some time to visit this site. Steven's already revealed some fantastic works!

That is a nice map site.

I'll be dipped if I can remember. It was many years back, around the time 3E came out, if not before.

I've seen the dungeon generator online, once or twice.

Is it something akin to this? I do have a downloaded copy, but I'm not sure where I downloaded it from...

I actually DO know everything. I just have a very poor index of my knowledge.

Yup, that's the one. That's an online version, but is otherwise identical to the little utility on the CD.

Looking at the file dates on the CD, I'd say it came out in 2001, maybe 2002. It's got a couple Dungeon adventures on there, both from May/June 2001. It's also got a pdf of the first issue of Dungeon. There are also pdf diagrams of the Millenium Falcon, an X-Wing, a Y-Wing, and a TIE Fighter. There's an article on how to build a monster. It's got the PC Portraits from Dragon issues 270-8 and Sage Advice from issues 274-280.

So it was likely included with Dragon somewhere in the 270-280 range. I can't narrow it down much further.

Jamis Buck also had a town generator and a NPC generator for 3e. I can't track them down on the web anymore, but they are/were great utilities. Enworld was hosting them, but they seem to have disappeared. Anyone know where they went?

I have some links to my website if you would like to include them in your list.

Just want to let you know this particular link didn't work for me, although I got to that page easily enough via the others.

And the dwarf picture is cute!

I'm pressed for time today, but I wanted to post some things here that I'm fond of and use a lot myself. If these are already listed, then please forgive me.

I think the first one is listed. I've used it a lot, myself, and it's on my handy list of pre-formatted links.

Under section 10, Deities, you can remove the Area51 geocities link, I stopped updating that site while I was in High School, and it's no longer a valid URL.

That site is no longer active... But it's been mirrored elsewhere. Check out the TSR Archive (and specifically, the FR stuff published by TSR).
