Since the Year of Rogue Dragons uses quite a few references to Planar Dragons, I was trying to puzzle out where these nasty beasts would roam in the Realms cosmology. A few of them are easy, but I have a few that I would love to brainstorm with my fellow scribes here at Candlekeep.

Hellfire Wyrm: Pretty easy since the Nine Hells exists in Toril's Cosmology.

Battle Dragon: Warrior's Rest would seem to be a natural for these guys.

Chaos Dragons: Supreme Throne?

Howling Dragons: Deep Caverns seem right for these buggers . . .

Oceanus Dragons: The biggest issue here is that while they could show up on any upper plane, and lots of planes in the "Great Tree" count for that, they are aquatic, and there is no connecting aquatic feature for the upper planes of the "Great Tree."

Pyroclastic Dragons: Barrens of Doom and Despair and the Blood Rift?

Radiant Dragon: House of the Triad, specifically the Mount Celestia central mountain.

Rust Dragon: Nishrek and Clanggor?

Styx Dragon: The River of Blood and adjacent planes.

Tarterian Dragons: Hm . . . not sure about the "home" for these guys.

Astral Dragons (from Dragon 344): er . . . the Astral?

Chole Dragons: Again, there is an Abyss, so this one is easy, although I have been trying to figure out how to tie these guys into the Dragon King and the Far Realm, perhaps . . .

Elysian Dragons: Pretty much any upper plane except Dwarfhome, Dweomerheart, the House of Knowledge, and the House of the Triad.

Gloom Dragons: Well, naturally I would say the Fugue Plain, but I have some problems with things being "native" to the Fugue Plain, not the least of which is that you can't travel to the Fugue Plain alive, and I'm not sure how it would work for anything to leave the Fugue Plain.

Let me know if you have any ideas about any of these nifty guys, and yes, I know that as a catch all, the Dragon's Eyrie is suppose to have all the planar dragons within it, but without a plane that matches their nature, this is too easy a crutch in my way of thinking.

Bane, Gargauth and maybe even Malkzid probably have a few Hellfire Wyrms

I think that the Tartarian dragon would be suited to the Barrens of Doom and Despair.

Also, the hellfire wyrms should be pretty wanted beasts and Asmodeus should have someone, too. (After all, it's a HELLfire wyrm ^^ )
