Seeing as how Darkhold and the Zhentarim are in NDA land for now Ive decided to throw together an unofficial flow chart showing the current Hierarchy in the Banite dominated Zhentarim and the Darkhold in the Western Heartlands.

So far Ive managed to fit all the 3ed stuff into the chart ie Lords of Darkness etc but Im still trying to determine whose still around in Darkhold

So Im drawing from the 2ed stuff that includes

The Castles boxset (which features Darkhold)
Ruins of Zhentil Keep
Cloak and Dagger

From The Castles boxset the following members dont make it into Ruins of Zhentil, C&D or 3ed material

Kurth Dracomore of Bane: Im guessing that the Cyricist got him during one of the Bane deaths

From RoZK

The following are Presumed Dead due to Cyric destroying Zhentil keep

Magistrate Osconivon
Councilor Uranthyl
Orm of Melvaunt
Lord Phandymm
Kharembhar
Lord Ssorg
Nath Ilturin
Lhemako Taraskh
Geidarr Ithym
Hastil
Hammon

People who are in RoZK but dont reappear in C&D

From Darkhold
Hanishal Droun
Fyroth Taharavic

Friends of Manshoon
Thagdall
Maraun
Eregul
The Night Fingers
Ithana redstave
Ilthond
Jenelle Quarvaryl
Zana Longanna
Xualubun (Beholder)
Zantiad (Beholder)

Clerics
Zhessae
Delberg
Hroth

The following appear in C&D but not in any 3ed realms lore

Jhaven

"Lady Demonda" Aka Eshaeris the Erinyes

Ruinlord Casildar

Ruinlord Asdag

Sarthor

Meer: Presumably dead as Xulla is now the Caravan lord

Hatemaster Kamis

Oppressor Tural:

Thagdal
"Osric" actually a Osyluth

Eregal the Freestave

Lord General Ulgrym: presumably dead as Scyllua got his job

General Vrakk: Appears in Prince of lies, then leaves with the monster army that destroys Zhentil Keep

"Nimbaund": Actually Celaq a Baatezu

Miraun
Lord Halaster
Lord Payr'Adar
Aghebar
Maglor the Apothecary
Ulthan Rathelstan
Krommiar Kethyr
Samras Quolcon
Tamek Ilturin
Shounra Shalassalar

From Darkhold

Lord Taradril Aumraven
Imir Castdie
Otto Otturka
Riviar Darkwind
Nimos Palantor

Harondalbar: For some reason this black Dragon appears in the Citadel of the Raven chart to..

Faren Starlight
Sahen
Yarkul
Kadorr
Ilthond
Nith
Slim
Kolvar
Sem
Bauble
The Three: Mairhe, Sahbonn, Itlur

Have I missed anything about these missing members?

I'll just note that Eregul the Freestave appears in the Last Mythal trilogy, reporting to Scyllua Darkhope. He is also part of the Zhentarim occupation force of Shadowdale in 1374-1375 DR.

And Ed already did something of a re-shuffle ofthe Zhentarim hierarchy in an old Polyhedron article. I'm not sure that subsequent editions picked up the changes though. As I recall, the "Three" had become "Five" and there were other Zhent wizards mentioned and thumbnailed.

Sage should be along directly to give you the details.

'Twas the old "Schemes of the Zhentarim" article from POLYHEDRON #84 as I recall. But it's been so long now since I last looked, that I wouldn't be surprised if I've got the issue wrong.

Just sent a concept proposal called "the rebuilding of Zhentil keep" to ye olde NDA land. Hoping to get it out this winter, but keep going please, I want to see who's who.
My group in Calgary is going to love this one.
