For the master scribes, do you know what are Xaren and Vilstrak, two kinds of creature that can be found in SouthKrypt (Kryptgarden forest north of Waterdeep).

These are both from the original Monster Manual II.

A xaren is almost the same as a xorn. It is related to the xorn and looks very similar. It is more metalic looking. It eats magical metals.

The Vilstrak is a humanoid with an insect head and stony skin.

Ah, I have all my old 2E FR stuff, but my old 2E "generic" stuff is somewhere in the attic :P
