Several folks have asked about when certain Waterdeep-related articles will appear in Paizo publications.

Erik Mona, editor of Dragon and Dungeon, said I could share the following with Realms fans:

My trilogy of Waterdeep adventures:
Dungeon #126 (Sept.), Dungeon #127 (Oct.), and Dungeon #128 (Nov.)
Note, for those of you planning campaigns, these will be high level adventures targeted at 13th level characters set in and under the City of Splendors.

Big Dragon Waterdeep Special: Dragon #335 (September)

Waterdeep: A Retrospective (Eric Boyd)
A new Elaith story (Elaine Cunningham)
New Olamn (Elaine Cunningham)
Premier of a new Realms column (Ed Greenwood)

Dragon #336 (October)
The Unseen (Eric Boyd) (scheduled, but not a sure thing)

As always, plans are subject to change, but this is Paizo's current plan.

VERY GROOVY! :)

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

This great news

Our main campaign has been going on for almost eleven years in and around Waterdeep, and I eagerly wait for the new stuff from Eric and Ed.

Hopefully there will be lots of new NPCs and locations?

Has anyone any information on upcoming region books?

Anything planned for Cormyr/Dalelands/Sembia/Western Heartlands?

There has been no information on what regional book will come next after Waterdeep. Whatever area is chosen, we will not get the product until 2006.

To be honest I could only think of 2 Vampires that had names in Waterdeep, one was the Cleric of Malar and the other was that good Vampire from the novels who ended up in Ravensloft

... Implying that the rest of Waterdeep's vampires have no names. Poor bloodsuckers, did no one love them when they were alive?

Or they are to cool, so they just have symbols for names, like Prince did. :)

Eric, you never told me you were using her! Cool! Thanks for remembering her; she's not been mentioned in print since EMPIRES, where one of the teleportals from that module lead her to....

Guess I'll have to buy my first copies of DUNGEON since the 80s....
