I've decided that for a personal project (the background of an NPC), I need some info on the Cormyrean Freesails.
But other than Pirates of the Fallen Stars, there doesn't seem to be much to be found on them.
Does anyone know where more info can be found?

Volo's Guide to Cormyr has some info on anti-pirate activities in the Marsember section. Something about the High Priest of Lathander funding privateers for pirate hunts... there might be more about what you are looking for too. |

If anyone else wanted info on the Freesails, the new Military Forces of Cormyr essay is about the Blue Dragons, Cormyr's navy, and includes a nice section (with citation) on the Freesails. 'Tis under Auxiliary Naval Forces.
I know not who this Jerry Davis is, but I'm going to e-mail him a note thanking him for compiling all that.

I had already owned that source for several years when I posted that question. There are only passing references to the Freesails in that supplement; nothing resembling anything substantial.

I would love an updated version to cormyr and the Cormyrean freesail's for 5e.
I know there is supplements for 4e, but I'd love an update (1493 DR)
What do you guys think? |

If you are looking for the fluff, that may be a good source. If you're looking for the crunch, definitely not.
