So the hair color is wrong, but this guy has a beautiful image of Laeral...

That image is currently the wallpaper on my home desktop and on my cellphone.

The same artist also did one of Storm and Syluné, though I think having just the floating head there throws it... I used that as a phone wallpaper, too, but zoomed it in so it was just on Storm.

Love this picture, and yes its becoming my new wallpaper. Guessing Laeral is in disguise (she often is), and thus the hair change.

I'm pretty-sure its been established that the Chosen can change their looks at-will, and hair-color is probably the simplest thing to do in that regard 9the white hair would stand-out more than any other feature, since the 'Seven sisters' are famous).

Nice artwork - wish could do stuff like that. the floating head does seem a bit 'off' (a partial, full-body, transparent 'ghost' would have been far more atmospheric).

.... well.

it is not fan art of a canon character.

its home table fan art of a canon character....

why is being a wizard like being a drow? both are likely to find a dagger in the back from a rival or one looking to further his own goals, fame and power

Very cool. Better than the art gracing the cover of the latest batch of Realms novels for sure.

I fail to see a distinction. If it's not official art, it's fan art.

Ok, I wasn't the only one thoroughly confused by the statement then.... I figured maybe I'm just old.... what is "home table fan art"?

I typed on that page didnt she have silver hair and was replied to by the pieces comissioner and he stated that canonicaly she did but at his table she did not a left over thing from the crown of horns and that her hair only turned silver during her usage of silverfire.

So which ad-campaign do you think would be more effective:

"Join the Harpers! Meet the seven Sisters! Get invited to orgies in Silverymoon!"

or...

"Join the Bad guys! Be close friends with guys who died centuries ago and are rotting away!"

Do you think Storm knows how many young men are sitting "just within eyesight" of her house (but still hidden in the trees) doing... um... things...?

She's cultivated special 'tissue-bushes' all around her property as well.

Very handy for easy clean-ups.
