What determines the source of the time stamp on posts? I'm 5 hours off on the post, but my PC time Eastern Standard. Thanks!

I think it's set to Z time, for everyone. (Also known as Zulu or Greenwich Mean Time).

I'm not aware of a setting to make this specific to your time zone.

I'm actually not terribly far from you; I'm in Melbourne.

Sometimes time stamp is time of server location. In any event the time stamp would be universal as far as candlekeep is concerned. The host server and program needs to know which post was made first.

"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards."
"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."

It is indeed recording the Greenwich Mean Time. I write this message around 19:00 and it will be stamped as around 18:00.

Because I'm in Europe, and Greenwich is not... :D Edit: Not even 200km away.

I've known forums where you can configure your timezone in your profile so the server convert all the time stamps for you. But it was a pain, as you had to change it twice a year, because daylight saving time.
