With 5e, all those killing blows that 4e dealt were revealed to not have been successful at all. If Mystra survived, and we know she did, chances are that her realm wasn't actually fully destroyed.
That's why I go with the idea that some planes "moved to Abeir" (including dweomerheart). We know the Mulhorandi gods are coming back too, so I'd imagine their plane "attached" to Abeir as well temporarily. Maybe the reason a bunch of Mulhorandi disappeared was their gods saw their home "moving" and somehow they reached out and "grabbed" some of their worshippers to come with them in their wake. |
