Based on the style, I would guess it from the 4e era. Dragon DDI maybe.

Yes, it's very likely from D&D 4e.
I have another one (I collect tons of D&D illustrations, since they come in handy when I'm trying to give a visual to my Players).
This one is directly pulled from WOTC's (defunct) gallery archives.
