Hi, I've just completed my first attempt at basic map drawing, using "How to Draw Fantasy Art and RPG maps" by Jared Blando, basing it on Mike Schley's SCAG map. It's for my players, based around a non-canon settlement of Twilight Tor (built there by dwarven explorers before they found the Vault of the Lost Wayfarer). It's a relatively quick and rookie effort, but people are welcome to use if they like.

Mainly looking for feedback, and any major landmarks and sites I've missed. Once it's all done I'll probably make it look like parchment before passing it on to my players.

Many thanks Markustay, means a lot coming from someone whose maps I use constantly! Plan today to scan it into photoshop and try and make it look inked rather than penciled.

I've also uploaded this to the DM's Guild as a "Pay What You Want", which additionally comes with a map with canon locations the DM can use in the area (and cited sources), and a version of the drawn map before I parchmenterized it.

Updated the DMs Guild file with a higher quality scan, as well as black and white versions for anyone keeping score. Mods may want to move this to the DM's Guild thread.

Waterdeep region map just got a higher quality scan, going to make the parchment version now and hopefully upload over the weekend!
