As everyone knows, the True Necromancer class is hilariously terrible compared to a straight arcane or divine caster. While musing on converting the class to Pathfinder, I'm thinking of the following changes.

First, you don't need to be a multiclassed character. The Undead bloodline (for sorcerers), Bones Oracles, Gravewalker witches, Necromancer wizards and clerics with the Death or Undead subdomain already qualify. The Command Undead feat continues scaling for necromancers and clerics, characters who can't Command Undead instead gain the ability to do so at character level - 3.

Second, the true necromancer gets CL and DC boosts to necromancy spells, at the expense of Conjuration [healing] spells, or spells that deal with positive energy in general.

Taking a page from the Agent of the Grave prestige class, true necromancers get to add their Int modifier worth of spells of the necromancy school from any other spell list. Additionally, true necromancers gain great insight into the workings of undead creatures, as they progress in the class they gain the ability to affect undead creatures normally immune to enchantment and necromancy, as an upgraded version of the agent of the grave class ability.

Any ideas?
