Are there any swamp lands near Baldur's Gate (preferably south, east or west)? I've looked over various maps and the lands around Baldur's Gate seems pretty barren, what exactly is the terrain like? Would the Cloak Wood be considered swampy, I noticed there are two rivers running through it?

Any other details you guys can give on the terrain and wilderness would be great

My time is short so this isn't as well researched as I'd like:

All of the lands south from Baldur's Gate to Amn on either side of the road are stated as being pleasant farmland. There's a swampy ravine to the north by the village of Roaringshore. The mouth of the Winding Water - also to the north - is noted as being a marsh. If you look at some of the monsters known to inhabit the Wood of Sharp Teeth though, it indicates that there's probably some wetland within there.

When life turns it's back on you...sneak attack for extra damage.

Near Baldur's Gate? It looks fairly dry, or at least stony. But maybe somewhere on the border of the Cloak Wood... or the Wood of Sharp Teeth...
