I think I actually do have some tomes on my desk - a pile of them, to be exact. In fact, I just remembered that Wooly is expecting one of them... *Ahem*, I'd better fetch it right now before he gets mad at me... *Asgetrion hurries back into the cellars*

Alaudo,

I'd prefer not to say openly but suffice to say I'm on "sabbatical" from En World. PM me for more details. But glad to help/be useful in the great Candlekeep.

Greetings, I am Theophilus of Skullport. I have only recently returned to the Realms after an 10 year absence - everything has changed! I look forward to the lore I will learn from this fabled library and its members.

*Shush*, Victor! You don't tell that to everybody, unless you wish them to think that you might be a Zhentarim spy! *Ahem*, which you are not, are you?

Greetings Nighttfall.
How fares your part of the Realms?
I've been out of the Realms for at least 10 years now - I've just started gaming again this year and have noticed that there has been a huge amount of changes (not least 3rd of course!). My Realms knowledge is roughly located at the timeframe of Prince of Lies so please cut me some slack :) I hope and look forward to learning alot from this site and its members

I am hiding in the dark cellar here at Candlekeep, gathering knowledge. I rarely come up, but sometimes I have to say hi to new members, and tell them what they can see down here.

And yes I were once a “Worm” one of the best (some say) but now it doesn’t matter

I have heard no news of the keep fore a while, but I will get back to you if i do.

AAhh.. Asgetrion you have long ears.. No of cause not I don’t know anything about Zhentill keep!!!!

Theophilus you are alwas welcome to take a look at the pictures at Arik Witchson Gallery (one the wall here at candlekep – gallery room) there you can see a picture of me.

Theo,

It would fare better if my Lord Orcus was revered as the TRUE lord of Undeath/undead, but eh...I'm alright.

I'll cut anyone slack. I'm still catching up with the Draco-rage of Year of Rogue Dragons.

I thought so. You know, I have charmed most of the rats and other vermin down here, so everything that is whispered in the cellars (and elsewhere, too) reaches my long ears sooner or later!

Tell me Asgetrion are your pocket empty and are you interested in some side jobs here at the keep. I know some people that would pay “Coin” fore some special tomes if you could get them, and I could always use a extra pair of ears here.

… of cause I am not that kind of a thief, I am just the strange thief in the cellar gathering knowledge and minding my own business.

Let me give you some free information I found out some days ago; It´s about one of our members here at the keep.

Any Zhent would like nothing more then to watch the slow painful death of a Harper..

Greetings Yasraena and welcome to Candlekeep. Enjoy your time within these hallowed halls and feel free to learn all about the realms that you want to. I myself have learned so much sometimes it feels like my head is going to explode.

Turox Antas Dragonslayer -
"People will believe anything they want to believe, or fear to believe."
Wizard's First Rule: Chapter 36, Page #397, US Hard Cover (revealed by Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander).
Explanation by Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander: "People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool."

Welcome to Candlekeep!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!
