The Accursed RPG is a new dark fantasy game being financed through Kickstarter A new novella by me is one of the Stretch Goals. I'd really like to write that story, so I hope you'll check out the campaign:

I have not seen the Agents of shield show yet but will definitely catch it once it comes to India.
However I think that if they just fight crimes bosses and terrorists then it might get a bit dull down the line. So here's hoping that Hydra and C list villains like Stilt man make an appearance. Though didn't the Punisher blow him up with an RPG? Might make for a good episode

Since the Marvel Cinematic Universe has its own continuity, Stilt Man need not be dead in that reality. Mind you, I'm not saying that's a good thing.

Good point. After all the most memorable thing about that guy was his death. Still I suppose there are other somewhat less ridiculous supervillians that could make an appearance.

Ahh thats not a villain I am familiar. But he sounds interesting based on what little info I could find on the Internet. Spiderman does seem to have more than his fair share of ridiculous supervillians. Not that that is a bad thing.

Spider-Man, I think, actually has the best rogues gallery of any superhero. But he's been around so long and starred in so many comics that he's inevitably run up against some loser villains as well. An embarrassing product of the disco era who basically did the Ringmaster's hypnotism shtick, the Hypno Hustler was one of the latter.

Richard, do you recall the state of the science fiction community at the time that the New Wave stories were first published (their general response to the New Wave)? I only discovered the Cornelius novels last year, and wasn't around when they were first published.

I see you used to play Magic; what kind of deck did you use?

There were people who were excited by the New Wave and people who thought it had no merit and that at least some of the books weren't really science fiction at all. In the US at least, this divided correlated to a degree with political differences. The way I dimly remember it, people who were against the Vietnam War tended to dig the New Wave and vice versa.

Obviously, with the above, I'm laying out the situation in terms of the extreme positions and oversimplifying, but still, that kind of gives you a feel for what was going on in the field.

When I played Magic, I tended to play either a black deck or a black and one other color deck. The other color varied, although it was rarely blue. I went with red, white, or green far more often.
