I've got 8 elves who are various classes. I need a different fluff theme for each of them, because I'm going to create some special quests and stuff that they can make and acquire new unique abilities and allies.
The characters are as follows:
- Warmaster (Fighter//Swash//Samurai (CW)//Knight)
- Hunter (Barb//Ranger//Scout//Dr. Shaman)
- Bard
- Specialist (Rogue//Factotum)
- Wizard
- Cleric
- Druid
- Champion (Paladin//Knight//Marshal//Healer)

Themes that I can think of:
- Dragons (I'm thinking that the Warmaster could be a fine and flavorful Dragon Knight)
- Fey (Druid is the obvious choice)
- Spirits (Champion has the flavor of an "ancestor spirits" theme)
- Eladrins (or other good outsiders; Bard would fit the eladrins)
- Gods (Cleric, duh)

The characters are of course good.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for more themes and/or which char. should have which theme, please toss them my way.

I need a bit more before I can contribute anything intelligent to this. A couple of things:

1) overall character level (something that's good for one level is suicidal or no challenge for another)
2) are those multiclass, or is it a weird multi-gestalt game?
3) sub-races
4) where are the elves from
5) where is the game set
6) when is it set

I've got a couple of ideas, but I need a better picture before I can start working them out.

Doggedly converting 3e back to what D&D should be...
Sigh... And now 4e as well.

thats kind of what I was wondering... if they are multi class characters.... they have to many classes.

to much with too little stuff for it.

the samurai is a str based dual wielder and people constantly post bad things about it. they also say that swashbuckler past lvl 3 or was it 4 was worthless.... and then there is the knight a baseclass out of the phb 2 or something that I dont have alot of respect for.....( the book not the class) and then thre's the fighter a whole lot of feats and not much else.

need more info

why is being a wizard like being a drow? both are likely to find a dagger in the back from a rival or one looking to further his own goals, fame and power

They're starting from 1st level, but it's not really important because I'm only looking for suggestions on themes, not entire campaign stated out.

They're basically homebrew classes that are a couple of base classes gestalted together (and with a couple of minor tweaks).

3) sub-races

Any I want. It's in PF, so there are no mechanical differences.

6) when is it set

That's not yet decided and not really important.

You can give them in raw form. I'm only looking for suggestions. You don't have to make all the work for me.

4, 5, and 6 are critical. The things an elf of the Moonwood would think important, and go questing for, and their history, are very different than the elves of Cormanthor, or the Yuir, or the Forest of Amtar. Each one would have things from their own history that can be woven into the things they do and place they go. But if you don't have that yet, I guess you don't. And so all I give is really, really vague help.

The major theme you don't have is loss. The elves of Faerun have lost an incredible amount of their territory, and to a large extent their history and their power. Their homelands have been plowed under and built over, their items scattered, their lore dispersed. Regaining even a few small pieces would be a quest of dozens of lifetimes. And what they go after can depend on who they are. The wizards and bard will be looking for arcane secrets, kiira now buried, journals of elves from the First Flowering. The thief will go after items in human or other hands, looking to reclaim what is being held by others. The warriors will seek to destroy the remnants of dark elven experiments (the fey'ri come to mind, but they can't be the only ones). That sort of thing.

Doggedly converting 3e back to what D&D should be...
Sigh... And now 4e as well.

Again, that's all I'm asking for.

The themes don't have to be "elven". It's just that the characters are elves.
