I wonder if some humans from the 13th Century got teleported to the Realms like a part of the Egyptians and Babylonians were. If they did, it would explain a lot about human fashion in the realms. I'm guessing they were transported to where ever Chondathian came from, since most nations speak a variant of the language.

I wonder if they were Anglo-French, or Norman French. What do you all suppose?

This a part of Realmslore that I particularly dislike, it's speculated that Chessentan/part Chondathan (Greek and Roman) people were brought in by the Imaskari and the Norse arrived in their ships passing through magical gates (multiple occasions). From there it all evolved like on Earth, so they have a similar fashion .
