meh, not voting, the new realms....besides, not like one less vote never hurted anything.

why is being a wizard like being a drow? both are likely to find a dagger in the back from a rival or one looking to further his own goals, fame and power

{ahem}

The 'new' Realms is only nominated for Cover Art.

In fact, none of WotC's settings books (including all the Star Wars RPG settings) have been nominated for Best Setting.

I actually DO know everything. I just have a very poor index of my knowledge.

Nice to see a lot of love for CTHULHUTECH. 'Tis an amazing setting, with a lot of hard and determined work incorporated into each and every book released so far. Thus, I can definitely agree with its nominations for 'Best Cover Art' and 'Best Interior Art.' Good stuff!

The Dark Heresy Core Rulebook deserves its moment too.

In terms of 'Best Writing,' well that honour would have to go to Kobold Quarterly, Open Design.

'Best Production Values' -- CTHULHUTECH again, from CGL.

'Best Rules' I'm still undecided on. The same for 'Best Adventure' and 'Best Monster or Adversary.'

'Best Setting,' definitely Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting. That is a phenomenal gaming resource.

'Best Supplement,' I'm tied between my love of Vade Mecum and The Clone Wars Sourcebook.

'Best Aid or Accessory' -- Kobold, again.

'Best Regalia' -- Battletech: The Corps, Catalyst Game Labs.

'Best Electronic Book' -- Oooh! Oooh! Definitely Tales of Zobek. Baur at his best, yet again.

I'd go Kobold Quarterly, Order 66, and CTHULHUTECH for the categories of 'Best Website,' 'Best Podcast,' and 'Best Game.'

I'm undecided on 'Product of the Year.'

Never heard of most of those things. Not a lot of WotC. Gee I wonder why.

meh I hate the cover even more than the content.....

shade on a wyvern or a black dragon.
waterdeep or Baldur's Gate would of been better, or that genasi city.

I agree with sfdragon

In 5th edition it would be like a female bikini wearing shade in a black dragon

Or bikini wearing elves with anime features <^.^>

Besides the Forgotten Realms setting & Star Wars, what other settings are there that qualify for an Ennie?

Hurray for Mouse Guard, Kobold Quarterly, & Worlds of D&D!

I hope Candlekeep continues to be the friendly forum of fellow Realms-lovers that it has always been, as we all go through this together. If you don’t want to move to the “new” Realms, that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with either you or the “old” Realms. Goodness knows Candlekeep, and the hearts of its scribes, are both big enough to accommodate both. If we want them to be.
(Strikes dramatic pose, raises sword to gleam in the sunset, and hopes breeches won’t fall down.)
Enough for now. The Realms lives! I have spoken! Ale and light wines half price, served by a smiling Storm Silverhand fetchingly clad in thigh-high boots and naught else! Ahem . .
So saith Ed. <snip>
love to all,

Technically, Knights of the Old Republic, The Force Unleashed, The Clone Wars, Legacy and The Rebellion Era are all separate Campaign Guides/Settings and all have been released in the past year.

I actually DO know everything. I just have a very poor index of my knowledge.

Thanks, Bakra. And that's awfully nice company to be mentioned in. I'm a big fan of both Mouse Guard and Kobold Quarterly.

Totally. And I'm terribly biased on that one. ;)

Otherwise, Cthulhutech getting nominated for a slew of catagories makes me oh so very happy. I managed to snag one of the few color copies of both the core book and Vade Mechum that Catalyst had at last GenCon, and it's an amazing product. Well deserving of an ennie, or two, or three.

My votes are going to be largely split between various things that Paizo, Catalyst, and WW did.

Shemeska the Marauder, King of the Crosstrade; voted #1 best Arcanaloth in Sigil two hundred years running by the people who know what's best for them; chant broker; prospective Sigil council member next election; and official travel agent for Chamada Holiday specials LLC.

I managed to purchase a colour copy of the core rulebook during its initial print run, before Catalyst Game Labs snapped up the license. Not surprisingly, it's almost considered a "rarity" these days. Already.

Personal feelings regarding WotC aside, it's good to see a healthy mix of winners from different companies and genres. Solid competition only means all companies will have to keep up their quality.
