I'm currently making plans for an upcoming Skullport/Waterdeep centered game and intend on sending the party to retrieve a small item from the Tanor'Thal Refuge in Skullport (a chalice they will need to save one of their companions lives).
I've already decided I intend to scale down the refuge from its description in Skullport (less of a castle, more of a mansion with surrounding gardens).
Has anyone run anything similar? Are there any maps online I could easily modify for these purposes before I make my own from scratch?
(The party is going to be lvl 8 or 9, and the players/characters are likely to try to do this with minimum bloodshed)
It might make a good base of operations for the party. The map just shows the floorplans for the Cockatrice and Bryntyn's Brews, which I placed next door. It also shows the streets outside and the locations of the Burning Troll and Hired Horrors. It's not much, but you might find it helpful.
