Umm, George, The Umberlee's Get question was not a question of mine but ShadesofDis' one.
I'm not a moderator and I'm not allowed to intervene in the other keepers' questions.
Moreover, I'm not a great specialist of the FR and I found the answer within the ten first minutes.

Maybe my fault.
I wont do it again.

You're welcome George.
But I have to admit that I now wonder if the Scererar question is always on the desk ! :
What was Kelemvor's family curse and how did it come to be?

Was the Wooly's answer the good one ?

My answer was a joke. It's an easy question to answer, for anyone who's read the Avatar trilogy -- the curse is even a part of the plot.

I'm just leaving it for others to answer, in an attempt to get more people into this.

I've heard one of the most difficult thing with a non-native language is to notice humor vs seriousness. I think you do a fantastic job with english Fillow and I'm glad you try to get things clarified rather than just assume you know what's going on.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Oops !

I did not know the word "blading" so I did not wonder anything about Wooly's answer.
Now, I know !
Shame on me !

Indeed, I was sure the question was easy and the Wooly's answer made me think that was not so easy !
In fact, it is easy !

I can remember what exatly Kelemvor's curse was, but I can't recall why he had it, or weather he got rid of it or not.

If he didn't, that would make one helluva a divine trait.

Anyway, make what happened to the curse part of the question, because now I'm curious. (and away from my sources).

I could just Wiki it, but I think thats 'cheating', so I'll wait until someone uses 'Fuzzy' logic to come up with the answer.

Okay, since no-one else has answered directly, and since I´m a relative newbie I think it would be okay for me to give an answer.

Kelemvor´s curse was the family curse of the Lyonsbanes, which consisted in his being a lycanthrope who´s animal form was a black panther. The original curse was given to his ancestor Kyle Lyonsbane, who´s selfish, mercenary nature led him to deny help to a wounded sorceress because he saw no personal benefit in it. As the sorceress died, she cursed Kyle to turn into a mindless panther every time he performed an act out of a desire for personal reward. In the case of Kelemvor, 7 generations later, the curse was reversed in that he would turn into a panther if he performed any charitable deed without a reward. Kelemvor was doomed, therefore to demand a reward for every act he performed.

I just recently finished reading Shadowdale (book 1 in the Avatar Trilogy). It was my second FR novel after Swords of Eveningstar. Did I mention I was a newbie?

Okay, so, assuming I´m right, here´s the next trivia question:

What was the name of the Bard who penned the famous "Cormyte´s Boast", sung proudly by drunken louts in taverns throughout Cormyr, and what was the name of his home town?

Chorus:
"..And in this land I´ll proudly stand
Until my dying day, sir,
For whate´er king o´er all command
I´ll still be a Cormyte brave, sir!"

Cheers,

Righto, question, question. Might be a bit easier, but here goes:
Name the three nycaloths of the eponymous Trio Nefarious.

It's been over 5 days!

The Trio Nefarious were Aulmpiter, Gaulguth and Malimshaer! Page 6 of the Myth Drannor Campaign Guide, which is part of the Ruins of Myth Drannor boxed set.

The history in that book looks a little wrong though, or at least sparse to the point of misleading.

Anyhow;

Who kept Kelemvor's soul safe between his death and ascension to Godhood and how was this accomplished?

(probably really easy *g*)

Mask, in the "Prince of lies" novel by James Lowder, by keeping him safe (or imprisoned rather) within Cyric's own sword, godsbane. A good book, might I add. You find out that the sword is in fact Mask on pages 352 and 353 of the book and you find out that Kelemvor is inside the sword on page.....I couldn't(/was too lazy to) find that.

My question is sort of non-standard, perhaps, but I'll ask it anyway: What seem to be the colours of the new Zhentilar uniform?

What seem to be the colours of the new Zhentilar uniform ?
I would say black, with red or gold ornaments, but it seems so conspicuous that I just cannot understand that no one answered since Wed.
I think the cover of Lords of Darkness(3E) shows a Zhent she-fighter. isn't she ?

Could someone confirm that it's the right ansewer before I ask another one ?

Correct! She is a Zhentilar fighter (you can tell by one of the soldiers carrying a flag containing the Zhentarim symbol) and, yes, the uniform seems to be black, with gold trimmings. Well done.

More specifically, that is a picture of (I think) Scyllua Darkhope.
