Beyond the demiplanes mentioned in generic sources such as the old Guide to the Ethereal, I’m curious if there are any significant demiplanes tied specifically to FR lore. I believe I remember one from the Sembia series of novels called Stormweather (?), but that’s all that strikes me from memory. |

The Celestial Nadir is my personal favourite Demiplane, it's like huge demiplane dungeon that could contain almost anything in it. |

Gods are the strongest in their own domains and become weaker the farther they go from their own homes.
So if natives include as much as one quasipower, it's best left alone.
And it can be extremely troublesome even without such an opponent. See also: Mystra 2.0 in Avernus. |

The Celestial Nadir, an ancient Imaskari realm used for transport, arcane research, and containment for dangerous artifacts - as well as a prison for a caged Elder Evil they intended to use as a weapon of mass destruction. As of the 4e era, it’s expanding under its own power, eating other demiplanes.

Phaerimm apparently originate on a plane or demiplane which is somehow intimately affected by the Weave.
Certain "Realms" (homes of gods and goddesses) in otherworldly planes and places are inextricably linked to certain places (temples, holy sites, stone circles, etc) in the Realms. But these usually require efforts of faith (on both sides) to permit passage.
Likewise, there are elemental vortices - places where the purest elements in the world intersect with the impurest elements in the Inner Planes. The deepest water in the ocean, the heart of a volcano, the most rarefied winds in the sky, the hardest stone in the Underdark, stuff like that - planar gates spontaneously form themselves in magical environments. This is normal for every Prime world, but the Realms is noted for being especially magic-rich, creatures and things often mix between the Realms and the Elemental Planes.
Finder was imprisoned in some sort of unique demiplane donjon "between" the Realms and the Positive Energy Plane. The place was also a receptacle for divine energy from the Realms, I think.
In one of the Avatar/Cyric novels, Midnight-Mystra crossed some sort of transitive demiplane which directly connected the Realms to the Lower Planes. She had to make a hole in some kind of planar barrier, she then plugged the hole with a permanent Prismatic Sphere.
The Infinite Staircase is something like a transitive plane with coterminous intersections at numerous other primes and planes. But it apparently "always starts and always ends" somewhere in the Realms.
The Demiplane of Time ("Temporal Prime") also connects to the rest of the cosmos yet has some kind of "very special intrinsic connection" with the Realms.
The Faerunian pantheon has some Norse, Greek, and Finnish members (and mythology). Suggesting possible links with the Cosmic Tree, Ygdrasil, Bifrost, Olympus, Hadean/Cthonic/Pelagic underworlds, etc.
Perhaps worth noting that the cosmos-spanning 4E Spellplague might be technically possible under pre-4E rules if the cause (on the Realms) somehow resonated through all connected planes instead of through Mystra's cosmic influence.
And let us not forget about pools and moonwells. Some of these connect to a mysterious "dark demiplane" or "unknown lower plane" where entities like Tyranthraxus emerged. Possibly the same dark demiplane which plagued Faerun with a long history of fiendish invasions and a large number of permanent gates (and a legacy of daemonfey).
The Realms apparently has numerous connections with Earth. And, to a varying degree, some sort of shared or resonant landscape, history, and perspective on the ever-changing cosmos.
Finally, the world Abeir is said to exist in some kind of plane or "phase" isolated from the world Toril. 4E's spellplague allowed much of the overlapping morphology to be transposed between the two worlds (and sometimes altered or sometimed lost in the transition). |

Well, in 4e is stated that now was part of the Feywild, located in a region that was the equivalent of the Ferünian Yuirwood in the Feywild. So, I guess the ninshai didn't finished the work. |
