Hello people,

I'm a little bit confused as to where the Trade Way actually goes. The 1E Campaign setting has it going all the way down the coast from Waterdeep to Amn; the FRWiki backs this up, saying that it goers from Waterdeep to Calimshan. It's clearly indicated on the map, with an inland dogleg skirting the Trollbark Forest and Troll Hills before it forks and goes back southwest towards Baldur's Gate and the coast.

So far, so good.

However... 1ECS and 2nd Edition writings such as Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast also put Scornubel, Soubar and Triel (on the southeast branching road from the same fork) on the Trade Way, quite a distance from the coast and from the nice red line on the FRWiki map. So... which is right? Is the Baldur's Gate leg of the road actually the "Coast Way" alluded to to in the same Wiki article, and if so, where does it meet up again with the Trade Way? Scornubel kind'a looks like the end of the line.
