Yup, I'm a deviant. Dose that make me ebil? Methinks not. What cultures use make-up to disguise their highlights/true features. I know that Kohl was used in our history, but I wonder about about fantastical embellishments? There are so many to choose from. Tattoos, scarification, piercings, make-up etc....

Drow females sometimes use powdered Ormu, a fluorescent green moss as eyeshadow.

Didn't wild and some moon elves use war/body paint and tattoos?

That being said, I've always seen illuskans use war paint, somehow. Felt right for them. Nothing truly canon as far as I know.

Mulhorand and Thay have a tradition of tattooage. I think the priesthood of Talona engages in scarification... followers of Loviatar inevitably have some scars too.

Although the intent isn't disguise in any of those cases. I dunno about that aspect.

Egypt/Mulhorand springs to mind immediately.
