Rich Baker had this to say on the Realms-L:

quote:
Try Auppenser for a human god of psionics (alignment neutral, domains Balance, Mentalism, Protection, Strength). He's a dead deity, but he was big back in the days of Jhaamdath, which was a realm heavily influenced by psionics. You guys will get to meet him in an upcoming Realms product.

Mmmm .... upcoming Realms product ....

Hmmm... Auppenser sounds vaguely familiar. While I assume that he is likely a Baker creation, the entire concept behind the deity relates to something I've read before.

I'll have to crack open a few tomes to do a little searching on my own...

Do be kind enough to share what you find.

I will... now that I'm back. For I once again have access to all my tomes...

You think it's easy not being able to talk about this stuff? Especially when you know it's good stuff. Sometimes ignorance is bliss, trust me.

Interesting. I've always thought that the humans of FR needed a psionic deity. Sure, he's dead, but that never hurt Bane.

I wonder if that's going to be the Lost Empires tome that was at one time discussed on the WOTC forum.
